The Sustainable Business Network is New Zealand’s biggest advocate for companies that innovate and grow, while also caring for people and planet.
Better supported its impact through positioning, outreach and brand. This culminated in the creation of Next Fest, sponsored by NZI and designed to spotlight and accelerate sustainable innovation across New Zealand.
The awards gala, held at MOTAT's gorgeous Aviation Hall, celebrated leaders and organisations making tangible contributions to a sustainable future. A highlight of the festival was the keynote by global environmental journalist and activist George Monbiot and the reimagining of the Sustainable Business Awards.
All award finalists were included in the annual Next List list, highlighting the most promising sustainability innovators in New Zealand.
Next Fest 2025 highlighted sustainability as an opportunity rather than an obligation, offering a blueprint for how business, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship can successfully coexist to create a better future.
